Ange Postecoglou’s quest for a win was extended by 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, and Crystal Palace’s 19-game unbeaten run was ended by Jack Grealish’s late winner for Everton on Sunday.
In the midst of Thursday’s 3-2 Europa League defeat to Midtjylland, Forest fans called for Postecoglou to be fired after just six games.

The Australian is the first Forest manager to lose seven games in over 100 years, and he is now anxious to see if club owner Evangelos Marinakis makes another managerial change as a result of the international break.
In their first six Premier League games, Newcastle had only won one.

Four victories for Villa
Aston Villa won the first match of the season with a 2-1 victory over Burnley, extending their run of fourth victories in the previous 11 days.
With his first goals since April, Donyell Malen scored the winning goal for Villa.
The Dutch forward jumped on Boubacar Kamara’s brilliant through ball to slot into the bottom corner to start the scoring.
Morgan Rogers was the person behind Malen’s second, which drilled confidently into the far corner.
Burnley is still in the relegation zone despite Lesley Ugochukwu pulling a goal back.
After drawing 1-1 with Brighton, Wolves are still firmly established at the top of the table.
Manchester City and Chelsea are the Seagulls’ only two league victories this year, and they once more failed to deliver in an arguably more winnable game.
Just seconds after Vitor Pereira was shown a red card, Bart Verbruggen’s own goal put Wolves in front.
