Just in time for the holiday season, New Look dropped a pair of glittering gold kitten heels, making them the ideal, affordable substitute for Jimmy Choo’s £800 version.
Gathering some amazing outfits for all those fun events that are afoot means that the party season is upon us. If you want to dance all night or stay on your feet, great heels can complete an outfit.
Thankfully kitten heels have had a resurgence of popularity in the last few years and are a stylish (and comfortable) alternative to high heels. One pair we’ve been eyeing up is New Look’s Gold Faux Leather Pointed Slingback Shoes that cost just £26, but are easy to pair with just about any Christmas party outfit.

The low heels have a slim stiletto silhouette that keeps them looking elegant and classy, making them ideal for dancing, traveling between locations, or just making it easy to get home at the end of the night. They cost much more than Jimmy Choo’s Amel 50 Metallic Leather Slingback Pumps, which come in gold faux leather and cost you a lot more.
Although the Pointed Slingback Shoes from New Look are available in other red and cream hues, we have our eyes on the pair made of metallic gold faux leather. Because of their shape, they’re ideal for adding some fun sparkle to any party outfit without being too over the top. They can be worn with anything, including maxi dresses and mini skirts.
The slingback strap, which has a pointed toe design, creates a streamlined appearance and helps lengthen your legs. You can also make sure the straps on your feet feel nice and secure thanks to a buckle fastening.
One customer commented, “These shoes look so flattering on,” and the Pointed Slingback Shoes received a 4.7 out of 5 star rating.
Purchased for my graduation, and they turned out flawless. Not too high for a day of walking. On my feet, they appeared sophisticated and made me feel very secure. One critic said the Pointed Slingback Shoes were “well made and sturdy, but ugly on my feet.” Big feet can be attractive, but these don’t appeal to me.

Next’s Extra Wide Fit Point Toe Low Slingback Kitten Heels Shoes, which are available in both metallic gold and chocolate brown, are priced at just £28 and are suitable for those with wider feet.
