Netanyahu requests Israel’s president grant a pardon in corruption cases

In order to promote “national unity,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has requested a formal pardon from President Isaac Herzog in connection with his long-running corruption cases. Netanyahu must admit guilt and resign, according to Israel’s opposition.
