The governing body announced on Wednesday that the NBA would play regular-season games in Berlin and London in the 2025-26 campaign.
On January 15, 2026, the Orlando Magic and the Memphis Grizzlies will square off in Berlin, and they will also do so in London three days later.
The decision to move the games “reflects the incredible momentum and appetite for NBA basketball in France, Germany, the UK, and the entire region,” according to NBA Europe managing director George Aivazoglou.
In the upcoming three seasons, the NBA made the commitment to host six regular-season games in Europe.

The first regular season game for Germany will be in Berlin.
Matches will take place in Paris and Manchester in 2026-27, with those in Paris and Berlin in the following year.
Franz and Moritz Wagner, brothers who both play for the Orlando Magic, will re-enter their hometowns following the game in Berlin.
The Washington Wizards and the New York Knicks last met in London’s regular season game in 2019; the last of those games was a playoff game.
In addition, the NBA has previously played games in Tokyo, Mexico City, and Paris during the regular season.
The announcement reflects a wider trend of American sports changing their regular-season games to expand their fan bases in Europe.
Since 2007, the NFL has hosted games regularly in London, and Munich and Frankfurt have hosted them on alternate dates since 2022, with Berlin scheduled to host a game in 2025.
