A 53-year-old British man drove his car into fans on Monday, injuring dozens of people, and celebrating Liverpool’s Premier League victory.

Four children were injured in the incident in Liverpool last night, a spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service recently confirmed. It was announced that 20 patients were treated at the scene for minor injuries and did not need hospital treatment. 27 people were taken to the hospital via ambulance, with two of them sustaining serious injuries. A cyclist paramedic was also struck by the vehicle but was not injured.

Following the horrific incident, Atomic Kitten singer Natasha revealed her dad and nephew were at the very same parade that day as she took to her Instagram Stories to share a picture of the two wearing Liverpool shirts.
She stated, “Today, my dad and nephew attended the celebration parade in Liverpool.” When I watched the video, my heart raced. Although they are both safe, I’m absolutely horrified by what I saw today, and my thoughts and prayers are with all those who have been affected.
Service confirmed two people have been seriously injured, one of whom is a child. Merseyside Police are not treating the horror as an act of terrorism.
Three adults and one child who had fallen asleep underneath a car were quickly freed by fire crews and ambulances. A car struck several people before coming to a halt in disturbing video that is available on social media.
The chaotic aftermath is depicted in other scene-related videos, where fans can be seen disoriented by what has just transpired.
A 53-year-old white British man from the Liverpool area was arrested in relation to the incident. Prime Minister Keir Starmer said the scenes in Liverpool were “appalling” and added his thoughts were with the victims.
In a statement, the police urged people to “not speculate on the circumstances” of the collision. They continued, “We can confirm that the man being detained is a 53-year-old white British man from the Liverpool area.” The circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated for a great deal.

Many people prayed and posted their thoughts to John Bishop, one of the attendees at the Liverpool parade.
The comedian, who was at the parade earlier in the day, said: “I was at the parade today with my dad and like everyone else I am shocked and heartbroken about the events at the end of the Liverpool parade.”
Bishop expressed his sympathy for the victims, saying, “My heart goes out to all those affected.” You’ll Never Walk Alone, our anthem, is incomparably appropriate.
