NAPTIP Summons Speed Darlington Over Underage Sex Claim

Due to his claims that he had sexual knowledge of a minor, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking (NAPTIP) has summoned controversial singer Darlington Okoye, better known as Speed Darlington. &nbsp,

After a viral video of him admitting to having an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old, NAPTIP called him in for questioning, which sparked outrage on social media. &nbsp,

The organization wrote on its X handle on Thursday that “Mr. Darlington Okoye (AKA Speed Darlington) is urged to respond to the official invitation issued on May 28, 2025, in regards to a viral video and others in which he admitted sexually abusing a minor. The organization stated in a statement on Thursday that “failure to respond may lead to further action.”

We formally request that you appear before the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) in connection with a particular Instagram video where you allegedly made admissions to having sexual relations with an underage girl in the two-page summon. Admissions and degrading commentary about minors are also included in additional archived videos that are currently available.

“These actions constitute offences under the law if they are supported.”
