Eyebrows were raised when photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Kris Jenner’s star-studded 70th birthday were wiped from social media by the Kardashian matriarch and her daughter Kim – and the mystery has now been solved
The mystery of why snaps of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle partying at Kris Jenner’s birthday bash disappeared seems to have finally been solved. The Sussexes were spotted hand-in-hand arriving at the star-studded event at the house of billionaire Jeff Bezos to celebrate the Kardashian matriarch’s 70th birthday.
And soon after, snaps from inside the glitzy party, attended by the whole Kardashian clan, were posted on social media by Kris as well as her daughter Kim. They showed Harry and Meghan, dressed in all black as part of the event’s James Bond theme, dancing with Kris, while another showed Meghan posing alongside Kim.

The photos emerged just hours after the Royal Family had been attending Remembrance Sunday events at the Cenotaph – and were quickly deleted after being posted to Kris and Kim’s Instagram pages.
Many have speculated exactly why the snaps were hastily deleted – and it seems it could have been down to an admin error. According to People magazine, all guests at the party were asked to fill in a consent form to say whether they gave permission for images of them to appear on social media.
It appears that Harry and Meghan did not give permission, and when this was realised, the photos that had gone up in error were deleted.
It comes after a source also told the magazine that Harry and Meghan looked “very happy” together at the bash. They said: “Meghan was glowing in a black wrap-style dress that showed off one leg. She looked very glamorous and fit the theme perfectly. Harry looked sharp in a tuxedo with a poppy for Remembrance Day.”
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Meghan announced the release date for the festive edition of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan. The show, which sees Meghan offer hosting tips while she cooks with celebrity friends, was savaged by critics following its release in March.
A second series was released in August and the former Suits actress, 44, has revealed her Christmas special will arrive to the streaming platform on December 3.
This will coincide with the King’s plans to host a state visit by the president of Germany between December 3-5. The duchess made the announcement on her Instagram account and shared a look at her festive holiday table – which includes candles, glassware, ribbons, and greenery.
According to a description from Netflix, Meghan “shares her favourite holiday traditions, seasonal crafts and family recipes with friends old and new” in the special.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex secured a lucrative contract with Netflix, thought to be worth more than 100 million dollars (£74 million), in 2020, after quitting as senior working royals.
Harry and Meghan announced they had signed a new “multi-year, first look deal for film and television projects” with the streaming platform in August.
Meghan described the deal as “an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership”, despite rumours the streaming giant may be pivoting away from her and Harry.
