Myleene Klass, a former HearSay star, has once more donned the white bikini that became famous during the I’m A Celebrity shower scene, claiming that the moment “made her name a verb.”
Myleene Klass has stepped back into her famous I’m A Celebrity white bikini, telling fans it ‘put her kids through school’. The former HearSay singer shared an image of herself in front of a waterfall, wearing her skimpy two-piece – just like the famous moment that went down in I’m A Celebrity history.
But now, the radio presenter has recreated her iconic scene, after partnering up with clothing brand Freemans. Mum-of-two Myleene shared the images on Instagram, writing: “The OG.
Although you are unable to shut off this waterfall. My name changed to a verb 20 years ago. Performing a Myleene . I’ll be forever grateful for the Australian jungle battle royale and the crown, which were broadcast in South Africa 17 years later. Sincerely, my children have been successful at school thanks to that white bikini.

The classically trained musician’s appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2006 resulted in “Doing a Myleene.” She placed second on the program, but thanks to her white bikini, she received numerous job offers afterward.
After being informed that her other bikinis weren’t suitable, the 47-year-old only recently added the pair to her jungle suitcase. She acknowledged that it was a wise investment, sharing a photo of her in the jungle shower with the caption “I can’t believe @imacelebrity started again tonight. I feel as though I was just yesterday in the jungle! I find myself imagining fate handled it all the time when I see this picture pop up.
She explained how she didn’t initially want to wear a white bikini, saying, “One of the show’s producers looked at my bikini in the hotel before I went to camp. One had stripes all over. We’ll have to leave the shops because the camera will probably be strobe over it.
I approached the store while traveling through the jungle and requested the most daring bikini from the store assistant. Best $40 I’ve ever spent, especially considering how much money was raised in the end for charities.
The previous contestant said, “Good luck to the contestants. Hope it’s not too cold outside with the new shower!
Myleene sold off her well-known bikini to raise $7,500. Proceeds went to charity in aid of the Farepak victims, who were forced to pay off low-income savers.
When Myleene left the jungle, the bikini received a number of job offers. In a 2017 interview, the Popstars winner stated, “When I came out of the jungle, it was all about this white bikini, which wasn’t very white by the time I left!”
There were “so many offers that came in as a result of that,” according to the initial model contracts. If another girl does it, I advise jumping in the shower because it’s freezing outside.
Myleene gushed over the bikini again in 2023 for I’m a Celebrity… South Africa, once more about her swimwear. She told the Bush Telegraph, “I adore a white bikini and I always wear one because I owe this bikini a lot.
“I would love to say this is THE white bikini. I don’t know where the white bikini is because when I came out of the jungle in Australia way back, I auctioned my bikini off and somebody bought it for £7,500. I would love to know who’s got it or would I?”
