Myleene Klass, a former singer, expressed her emotions as she celebrated the graduation of her daughter Ava from the university and reflected on her journey as a single mother amid the milestones.
Myleene Klass has shared her pride and emotion after taking her eldest daughter, Ava, to university over the weekend.
The broadcaster, 47, described the experience as bittersweet and said it had meaning because she had raised Ava and her younger sister Hero, 14, as single mothers since she had split from Graham Quinn’s bodyguard in 2013.
Posting to Instagram after dropping off her 18-year-old daughter, Klass admitted she struggled to hold back tears. “We have been through so much together, in particular the single mum journey where I often wondered if I could get her to this point alone,” she wrote.
We blew it, I never should have worried. My gorgeous, talented, and super smart babygirl officially started Uni on her terms after the village had taken us.
Klass described the day as being filled with activity as her and her partner Ryan Smith loaded her car full of items including her electric guitar, hairdryer, and air fryer.

She continued, “I loaded her into her digs with the rain down, ferrying boxes and bags up stairs, and then put up her fairy lights and made her bed (I washed her new bedding especially with extra softener so it could smell like home) before running out in the last minute supplies to get her supplies.”
One of the hardest parts, according to the former Hear ‘Say star, was driving away from campus in person. Your entire soul experiences the sensation of returning to the car, stopping, taking stock, realizing that the place where she had been piled high with her worldly goods and looking round at the empty passenger seat where she was the car DJ on the drive up has a strangely strong motherly joy, satisfaction, and pride.
The devoted mother also wrote, “I know I had every mother with me on the drive there and the way back,” in response to other parents who were going through the same milestone. A wonderful day.

The musician and presenter has been open about her past and family life. She mentioned earlier this year that her relationship with Quinn had broken down, recalling on Paul Brunson’s podcast, “I walked into him with a famous person on my birthday on a balcony.
I’ve come to terms with that circumstance, but it’s been difficult for me to see their lives since I literally broke apart in secret, and they’ve continued to do so as a family brand.
Klass describes Ava’s decision to attend college as “a day that will stay with me forever” and claims to be focused on honoring her daughter’s accomplishments.
