reportedly, Liza Ghorbani, the mother of Liam Gallagher’s lovechild, has been accused of trying to “capitalize” the Oasis reunion by allegedly demanding that he pay him close to £500, 000 annually.
The mother of Liam Gallagher’s youngest child has been accused of trying to cash in on the singer’s Oasis reunion windfall. Liza Ghorbani, who shares 12-year-old daughter Gemma with the rocker, is reportedly claiming nearly £500,000 annually for maintenance, a courtroom heard.
The former Oasis lead has already parted with more than $1 million (738, 000) since placing an order in 2015. After learning about Gemma’s autism diagnosis, Liam agreed to pay an additional $ 240, 000 (£177, 000) for her education and support in 2021.
According to reports, Ms. Ghorbani is currently seeking $ 69,000 ($495, 000) from the Wonderwall hitmaker for basic expenses like maintenance and additional expenses. She is currently reportedly seeking $ 420, 000 annually for daily child support, plus an additional $ 250, 000 lump sum.
Liam, who is father to three older children, conceived his youngest while still married to Nicole Appleton. His extra-marital affair was revealed in April 2014 when Ms Ghorbani’s pregnancy was made public.
According to The Sun, Judy Poller, Liam’s attorney, said Ms. Ghorbani’s side is “seeking this money because Mr. Gallagher is about to embark on a new musical adventure,” referring to Liam’s lucrative upcoming reunion tour with brother Noel Gallagher.
She added: “She is looking for $30, 000-a-month residence so she can have a pool, $100, 000-a-year live-in nanny, a vacation budget of $6, 300. These costs are insufficient. Never was this a stable, active family.
Amanda Creegan, Ms. Ghorbani’s attorney, expressed concern that Gemma’s needs are ignoring her. According to Creegan, Liam, who was present via videolink, hasn’t met or shown any intentions to, and that he doesn’t acknowledge her.
She also criticized Liam for allegedly deceiving them about earlier fee agreements. He called her a “gold-digger” and accused her of shaking him down, lying about how much he was paying her, and breaking the confidentiality agreement, according to Creegan.
Judge Jeffrey Pearlman hoped a resolution would be reached, so he set the date for a confidential session on June 13. When asked if he could arrive on the specified date, Liam responded, “Yeah, I’m good for that, any time.” He responded, “That’s all good, man,” after asking about the timing difference in the UK. It’s cool”.
Their long-awaited reunion with Noel and Liam, who split in 2009 due to a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival, has been confirmed.
On July 4, the band will perform two shows at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. In July, August, and September, the UK and Ireland tour will also stop at Dublin’s Croke Park, Heaton Park in Manchester, Wembley Stadium in London, Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, and Wembley Stadium in London.
