Mum of Dave Grohl’s lovechild finally revealed as huge music fan

Five months after Dave Grohl admitted cheating on his wife, his mother has finally been revealed. Jennifer Young said she has a seven-month-old baby girl with the Foo Fighters frontman, 56. The 38-year-old, who is from Florida but lives in Los Angeles with her mum, told the New York Post’s Page Six gossip column their daughter was born on August 1 last year and has Grohl’s surname.

She is not revealing her daughter’s first name because “there’s some really angry fans” and “protecting her identity is really important”. The mother has tattoos featuring the Metallica logo and lyrics from Paul McCartney, who is frequently seen walking with her baby in California. Grohl, formerly Nirvana’s drummer, confirmed in September he had become “the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage”.

Dave has three daughters with his wife of 21 years, TV producer Jordyn Blum, 48. They are Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10.

He stated about the new child, “I intend to raise her in a loving and nurturing manner.” I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness”.

Jordyn, a former model, and the rocker, who married the rocker in 2003 at their LA residence, have undoubtedly had to deal with the shocking revelation. Since the news broke, she has been spotted without her wedding ring.

Before Jordan Grohl’s wedding, Jennifer Leigh Youngblood was the photographer between 1994 and 1997. Discussing his divorce in 1999, Dave said, “I was 25, my wife was even younger. We weren’t ready to get married. She’s the funniest goddamn weirdo you’ve ever met, and I miss her dearly. Absolutely adorable. If we hadn’t married, things would have been better. But you live and you learn”.

After a source claimed that she did not want the family to split, he and Jordyn were seen together earlier this month on their way to the Super Bowl.

A source told People: “It was just such a shock for Jordyn. She declared a divorce at first sight. The betrayal felt too heavy. But as the weeks went on, she began to reflect, and it only made her feel very sorry if her family split up.
