Mum of Dave Grohl love child breaks silence as she’s revealed as tattooed rock fan

The identity of Dave Grohl’s love child’s mother has been revealed, five months after he confessed to being unfaithful to his wife.

Jennifer Young, 38, revealed she shares a seven-month-old daughter with the Foo Fighters frontman, 56, but has admitted there is one thing she is not willing to share with the public regarding their child.

The Florida native, now residing in Los Angeles with her mother, disclosed to the New York Post’s Page Six that their baby girl, born on August 1 last year, carries Grohl’s surname. Due to “some really angry fans,” she kept her daughter’s first name a secret, and she stressed that protecting her identity is very important.

The mother has Paul McCartney tattoos, including the Metallica logo, and strolls with her baby frequently in California. Jennifer’s daughter can be seen wearing a white safety helmet with Metallica and Lez Zeppelin stickers adorning it in recent pictures.

One of Jennifer’s ex-colleagues described the new mother as “quiet” and said it was shocking to see her working with rock star Grohl. They told Page Six, “I think she was more into Gwen Stefani than the Foo Fighters.”

Grohl, previously Nirvana’s drummer, acknowledged in September that he had fathered “the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage”. Dave has three daughters with his wife of 21 years, TV producer Jordyn Blum, 48: Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10.

Regarding the newborn, he stated: “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness”. He pledged to participate in the life of his youngest child, but it is unknown how closely connected he is with Jennifer’s baby.

Former model Jordyn, who wed the rocker in 2003 at their LA residence, has undoubtedly had to deal with the shock revelation. Since the news broke, she has been seen without her engagement ring.

Before Dave Grohl and Jordyn Blum got engaged, he was wed to photographer Jennifer Youngblood. The marriage lasted from 1994 to 1997 and discussing his divorce two years later in 1999, Grohl candidly admitted, “I was 25, my wife was even younger. We weren’t ready to get married. She’s the funniest goddamn weirdo you’ve ever met, and I miss her dearly. Absolutely adorable. If we hadn’t married, things would have been better. But you live and you learn”.

Despite earlier rumors of strain, Grohl and Jordyn were spotted en route to the Super Bowl earlier this month, despite a source’s claim that Jordyn was initially considering separating. Speaking to People, an insider shared, “It was just such a shock for Jordyn. She declared a divorce at first sight. The betrayal felt too heavy. But as the weeks went on, she began to reflect, and it only made her feel very sorry if her family split up.
