After being involved in a serious collision at the Malaysian Grand Prix on Sunday, Moto3 rider Noah Dettwiler is still “stable but still critical”.
During a sighting lap prior to the race, Dettwiler, 20, and Moto3 world champion Jose Antonio Rueda collided.
Moto3 is the division’s entry level over Moto2 and MotoGP.
The rider’s CIP Green Power team and his family released a statement, saying that “Noah has undergone several surgeries in the last few hours, which went well.”
His condition is stable but still critical, according to the doctors in charge.

Before the delayed and constrained race, both riders were taken to a hospital for airlift.
