As the Gunners approach the signing of the Valencia defender, Cristhian Mosquera will fly to Singapore to accompany Arsenal on their pre-season tour.
The Spanish side has already agreed personal terms with the 21-year-old to join Arsenal and has granted him permission to do so.
William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes will face off against the Spain Under-21 defender.
He will fill the roster left by Takehiro Tomiyasu’s departure, who both agreed to end his contract, by playing at both right- and center-back.
Mosquera has appeared in 90 games for Valencia and has represented the team for the entire season. He has appeared in 37 of their 38 La Liga matches.
On Wednesday, Arsenal travel to the National Stadium in Singapore, where they play AC Milan, before taking on Newcastle on Sunday.
