With her chic Saint Laurent pair, Molly-Mae has just inspired us to buy some sunglasses, and we’ve located a location to purchase a £27 alternative.
With sunnier weather reportedly on the way, and payday having just arrived, a new pair of sunglasses might be at the top of your wishlist. And if Molly-Mae’s aviator sunglasses from her most recent Instagram post caught your attention, you’re in luck, as we’ve found a £27 alternative to the £340 pair.
The Saint Laurent pair, which Molly purchased, costs almost £350. Unfortunately, they are currently out of stock all over the world, a further illustration of the “Molly-Mae effect.” We’ve found a pair of lookalike shoes that are still in stock for less than £30, though.
The Oversized Square Retro Style Sunglasses from & Other Stories are the pair in question. This similar-looking pair, priced at $ 27, is more than $ 300 less expensive than Molly’s. The difference is obviously the lens, but the retro aviator style is similar despite the pair from & and Other Stories being more of a burgundy shade.
These statement sunnies instantly change up any outfit thanks to their 80s inspiration. The brow bar adds a structured, throwback appearance that nods to vintage fashion, while the oversized frame gives it that cool-girl vibe.

The slim arms, which balance out the bolder frame and keep the shape looking sharp and sleek, balance out the oversized silhouette. These add an element of interest to your look, whether you’re taking a city break, taking a poolside vacation, or having brunch with friends.
In our opinion, designer sunglasses are typically well worth the price. However, it’s wise to choose more affordable options if you want to purchase more trendy items like these aviator, light-lens ones in case you decide they won’t work for you in a few years or even months.
I’ve previously purchased sunglasses from &, Other Stories, and can say that they are well worth the price. They outlast any other high-end pair I’ve tried, which they do.
Vehla, a similarly priced pair of sunglasses, is another favorite of Molly-Mae’s. Although priced at £170, Dixie Sunglasses are a popular brand among famous people because of their craftsmanship, fit, and distinctive designs.
