Former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague is gearing up for the release of her second Amazon Prime docuseries and has teased that there could be some drama in store between her and her sister Zoe
Molly-Mae Hague has teased some tension with her older sister Zoe ahead of the launch of her Amazon Prime series titled Molly-Mae: Behind It All.
The former Love Island star, 26, is returning to screens this weekend with three new episodes of Behind It All, after the first series won an NTA award earlier this year. At a launch event today at London’s Selfridges, Molly-Mae teased that there could be some drama in store for viewers when it comes to her and her sister Zoe, 28.
The sisters famously clashed in the last series of the Amazon Prime show over Molly-Mae’s relationship with professional boxer Tommy Fury. During the filming for the first series, mum-of-one Molly-Mae found herself heartbroken and longing for better days following her split with Tommy, also 26.
The couple split for a number of months due to Tommy’s alcohol issues, but they have since rekindled their romance and seem happier than ever as they co-parent their two-year-old daughter, Bambi.

However, during their break-up, Zoe was the one to give Molly-Mae some reality checks amid her concern for her younger sister and her emotional wellbeing after the sudden split. Viewers watched at the time as the sisters bickered with one another, with Molly-Mae claiming Zoe was being too harsh and too protective, while Zoe told her younger sister that she would be silly to get back with Tommy.
Fast-forward a year and Molly-Mae and Tommy are very much in love again following Tommy’s dedication to sorting his alcohol issues out. But according to Molly, there will still be some drama between herself and Zoe in the new series – despite herself and Tommy being back on track.
Speaking at the screening of the first episode today, Molly-Mae said: “I think Zoe is, like, one of the closest people to me, and it’s actually been really nice, kind of, especially in the last series, they’re showing the highs and lows of also a sister relationship.
“Because I think if anyone has a sister, you know, like, it can be savage at times, and then my sister is literally, like, the most honest person of me ever,” Molly-Mae added.
“Like, I’ve said this before, but I still send her all my Instagram photos before I post them, being like, honestly. Like, what do you think. my sister’s my rock, and also with family. Like she’s literally got me through motherhood. She’s incredible, and I wouldn’t want to do this without her, like she’s a massive part of my life,” she shared.
Molly-Mae also teased that she’s set to open up about struggles she has never publicly spoken about before. Of the new series, she said: “I was able to kind of trust the crew a little bit more and just to sort of let go a little bit, which I definitely have done in this season.
“I think you’ll see there’s bits that maybe I would have held back or wanted to sort of shy away from sharing, or topics that I feel like I didn’t maybe put the trust in the crew to talk about last time, because there’s just new territory for me.
“But this time around, I’m like, You know what? This isn’t our first rodeo. Now, we’ve done this before. I can really put my trust in them and just know that they’ve got my best interest and just more of a leap of faith with this one.
“I do feel really nervous about them, because we do talk about things in there that I haven’t spoken about before, but yeah, kind of just trusting the crew,” Molly-Mae admitted.
The social media superstar went on to admit that fans will see a whole new side to her in the new series, and they will be in for a shock.
Mum-of-one Molly-Mae revealed: “It’s definitely a new way to share my story. I feel like maybe Instagram is like that polished highlight reel where we keep it kind of like just in one lane, and YouTube is also where I can share a bit more, but never as much as I felt like I’ve shared in the doc, especially this time around.
“I’ve really spoken about things that I especially in two and three, that I just haven’t really delved into before. And just it’s been really nice to actually just speak a bit more. I feel like, over the few past few years, I kind of don’t speak as much, but having this show has been has enabled me to kind of just, yeah, be a bit more like ‘this is me’.”
While the whole second series shows a different side to Molly-Mae, she revealed that there’s one episode in particular that she’s incredibly anxious about.
“Episode three, I’m probably most nervous for. I mean, honestly, I’m definitely more nervous for this season than I was the first because I think it just delves into me more,” she admitted.
“And I think because obviously, last time, there was a lot going on and there was a lot of different storylines, and I felt like it was, it was about me and it was about other things at the same time, yeah. But with episode three, we definitely share things that in a dream world, maybe I’ve been like ‘CUT’. yeah.
“But I think also that’s just me at the start, because I was like, we’re gonna do it. Let’s just do it. Go for it. Like, show the good, bad, the ugly. Like, not every day goes smooth. But yeah, episode three is the drama.”
