Mollie King, the former The Saturdays star, returned to BBC Radio 1 after taking a long break to celebrate having had her second child, and her return coincides with One Big Weekend.
Mollie King made sure she was there for Big Weekend when she made a stylish return from maternity leave. She continued, “It’s so good to be back,” and claimed she had been made up to be reunited with Matt Edmonson.
I’ve forgotten about this person. The first person to meet the child was him. In January, the cricketer Stuart Broad and the Saturdays star welcomed her second daughter Lilliana. She told me, “I’ve got the best of both worlds, and she’s got the mother juggle down to a tee,” when she said, “I’ve got the best of both worlds.” In the afternoon, I meet my best friend, followed by my girls, Stuart, and myself.
It’s ideal to snuggle up with the girls before the radio show. “Mollie and Matt promise some dance moves as they kick off day three of the festival with a DJ set.”
” It’ll be fun, “said Matt”. There will be a lot of flying hands. Pitbull’s Timber will be completely included on the list.
Mollie added, “I think we should practice a little routine.”
That will be a festival high, but Matt shared a bummer.
“I was at Tea In The Park,” he said. “I was on a golf buggy. There was a lattice fence and I saw a guy take a s*** against that fence. That was quite a low point. It was like one of those Playdo fun factories.” That’s an image I could have done without.
Mollie and Stuart stunned fans earlier in the week when they revealed their second bundle of joy had arrived last year. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Mollie shared a string of images of herself holding her baby daughter.
She wrote: “Just before Christmas we welcomed our truly adorable Liliana into the family. Since then I’ve had the most unforgettable and incredible maternity leave watching her grow and experience the world little by little each day.
“It has been the most extraordinary and priceless time I could have asked for.”
She continued, “Tomorrow I’ll be back with my second family – my @bbcradio1 team and with our wonderful listeners, but to my beautiful baby girls if they read this when they’re older… Liliana, you’ve been the best Christmas present we could’ve wished for.”
You have been the world’s most relaxed baby, with the biggest smile for your family, despite my “funny” anxiety, which would make me “won’t know how to look after two.” We appreciate your midnight feasts and 4am snuggles; more will be needed soon! And thank you, Annabella, for welcoming your little sister with such awe and for keeping me belly laugh every day.
She continued, “I’m so fortunate to watch you grow day by day. Thank you girls for teaching me to be your mummy; you are our world.”
The best time was written alongside a red heart emoji in Stuart’s response to the news, according to Mollie.
Further images showed the content father holding his baby in the kitchen and staring at his older daughter. He, Mollie, and Annabella were all spotted moping over Liliana in later pictures.
