Miss-Teeq are said to be in talks with each other about giving a special one-off performance on Britain’s Got Talent to honor the occasion of a significant anniversary.

A massive girl band from the 2000s is “in talks” to reunite. Mis-Teeq, who was renowned for hits like Scandalous and All I Want, dominated charts in the early 2000s before retiring in 2005.

But now, as the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Lickin’ On Both Sides, approaches, sources have revealed that the girl group are in talks to reunite and could perform on Britain’s Got Talent. The record was initially released in 2001 and sat at No3 in the Official Album Charts.

Alesha Dixon and Sabrina Washington are now on talking terms after Washington had made a threat to sue over unpaid royalties six years ago. She launched the legal proceedings against Alesha for royalties dating back 15 years, as well as launching action against their previous label, Universal.

Sabrina claimed Alesha had “wrongfully claimed” the credits to the writing of their first two singles. Alesha wrote the raps on both Why, according to a Ms. Dixon spokesman at the time. and All I Want, which is why she splits. A production team wrote the rest of the song. Alesha should not be sued by Sarana.

This now appears to be water under the bridge for the stars. Speaking to the Mirror, a source said: “There’s always talks of a reunion and projects on the table, but it’s a matter of trying to get everyone together. Alesha and Su both have children; Su’s in Australia permanently, and Sabrina has been doing a lot of solo gigs across the UK and Europe.

Although the Girlbands documentary was shot separately, Sabrina and Su appeared to disagree, and the latter posed more questions than answers. Su mentioned a potential new record deal with the group at the time, which turned into an Alesha solo deal. Nobody knows for sure whether Sabrina was aware of that or whether she discovered it after watching the documentary.

They will want to do something meaningful, according to our source, but they haven’t been together since splitting up in 2005 as a trio. Some people have spoken to and spoken to each other, but some are the closest. They haven’t actually met, and it seems like there is a lot to talk about before a possible reunion.

A source has since told The Sun that Alesha has been “talking about reuniting for a while.” They stated that Alesha and Sabrina and Su-Elise have been having long-term, passionate discussions about this.

However, they have ruled out a major reunion tour similar to the Spice Girls’ 2019 and Girls Aloud’s. The source continued, “Many things are being discussed at the moment, and one idea has come up is the idea of a one-off show. It might be a performance on a big TV program like Britain’s Got Talent, for which Alesha is a judge.

Nothing is off the table, they continued, despite there being no official offers. The group reportedly made the decision to honor the record because it “holds a very special place in their hearts.”

In addition, Alesha also mentioned a potential reunion last year. When questioned about previous comeback discussions, she responded, “There might be.” Next year will mark the 25th anniversary of our debut album, Lickin’ On Both Sides. We are thinking, therefore. Thinking does not imply that we are thinking or acting. which is more than what we have accomplished.

Su-Elise said just weeks ago that Sabrina was “back in the fold” following her fallout with Alesha, sparking even more hopes of a reunion. She told the Mail that the three girls were in a “Mis-Teeq WhatsApp group” and would often check in and “talk about business”.

She continued, “We have always said we would never say never, and it would always have to happen when it was appropriate.” We are currently in communication with each other, all three of us. There is no concrete schedule to speak with us at this time, but we speak sporadic. If the right opportunity came along, I believe we would take a chance on it, even though we currently don’t have any plans in mind.

The Mirror has approached representatives for Alesha, Sabrina and Su-Elise.
