22 Kids and Counting star, Millie Radford, told fans she is ‘wiped out’ with the flu and so is her daughter, Ophelia, five, who was rushed to hospital at 4am
Millie Radford has revealed her daughter, five, ended up in hospital on Sunday morning after a nasty bout of flu has left the famous family “wiped out”.
The 22 Kids and Counting star, 24, who is also mum to Chester, three, and Elodie, two, told her followers she was “so poorly”, and that Ophelia, five, who also has the flu, had to be taken to hospital at 4am.
Posting a photo of her oldest child, wrapped up in a red blanket, a concerned Millie wrote: “We’re both so poorly, especially Ophelia. We were in hospital till 4am.” Sharing his concern for his wife and daughter, Harry Passmore added: “Ophelia and Millie are totally wiped out with the flu. Awful seeing both of them like this,” with a crying emoji.

Meanwhile, as Millie and Ophelia rest and recuperate, mum, Sue Radford, is getting into the Christmas spirit on yet another trip abroad to Lapland.
Taking to Instagram, the frequent flyer shared some sweet snaps of the famous family enjoying all the breathtaking region in the Arctic has to offer.
Captioning her post, Sue wrote: “Lapland you are just magical. We have had the most incredible day today the kids have not stopped laughing, throwing snowballs at each other and just loving the magic that Lapland is.”
In the accompanying snaps, Sue and the kids were seen with smiles a mile wide as they made the most of the wintery weather before enjoying a ride with reindeer.
It’s not the first time Britain’s biggest family has been to Lapland. They took a trip there in 2021, with Millie and her children as they headed for Santa’s grotto and went on a husky ride.
However, it’s not always smooth sailing travel-wise for Millie after she revealed earlier this year she had missed a flight to America with her kids because she didn’t have the right documentation.
The family, famous for their Channel 5 series, 22 Kids and Counting, and daily vlogs on YouTube, were all set to fly Stateside for their Easter holidays. However, upon reaching London’s Gatwick airport, Millie and two of her kids – Chester and Ophelia – were told they couldn’t board – while the rest of the family, including Millie’s husband Harley and their other daughter Elodie, got on the plane.
The refusal was due to the trio’s ESTAs (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) being expired, which is required for those travelling to the US without a Visa.
Sharing the mishap on Instagram, Millie posted: “So glad he doesn’t understand this disaster we are having [crying face emojis]” alongside a video of her son lying on the airport floor.
She later updated her followers, saying: “Guys let this be your reminder to double check your ESTA [melting face emoji] because mine, Chester and Ophelia’s had run out. Luckily, we have reapplied and they have all come in time for us to fly tomorrow.”
