Midfielder Casemiro to leave Man Utd this summer

Casemiro’s contract expires at the end of the current season, according to Manchester United, and he will leave.

The 33-year-old has 146 appearances since joining Real Madrid for £70 million in 2022.

In his first season as Manchester United finished third in the Premier League, he scored the opening goal in the 2023 Carabao Cup final victory over Newcastle.

However, new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who claimed some players were “overpaid” and “not good enough,” mentioned him last year.

The Brazil international proclaimed, “Manchester United will be with me forever.”

There are many more memories to make in the upcoming four months, not just one last goodbye.
