Michael DeLano passed away at the age of 84. His wife, who played the lead in Ocean’s Eleven, confirmed today that the actor passed away on October 8 at what time he should have been 85.

Michael’s 28-year-old wife and 38-year-partner, Michael’s wife, confirmed today that he passed away last month after suffering a heart attack. According to his wife Jean DeLano, the actor passed away in a Las Vegas hospital.

The actor was well-known for playing the casino manager Walsh in the 2001 box office hit Ocean’s Eleven and for playing the role of the firefighter in ABC’s Firehouse in the 1970s. In 1979, he appeared in the roles in the 1970s drama Rhoda and Supertrain.

Michael Ace Del Fatti, who was born (Disney General Entertainment Content via Getty Images), was born.

After seeing a neon sign on a hotel with that name, the actor, who was born Michael Ace Del Fatti in Virginia on November 26, 1940, decided to change his last name to DeLano for the rest of his career. On Dick Clark’s American Bandstand, he began his acting career as a regular dancer.

He joined the US Army as a paratrooper after beginning his dance career. He also appeared in Catlow and The New Centurions as well as on television programs like Adam-12, Kojak, Banacek, and Barnaby Jones, among others.

Fans have written: “Rest in peace DeLano,” and there have been many tributes for the actor. You’ll be forgotten. Another person shared, “One of my favorite movie scenes from Commando of all time.” RIP Michael Delano.

What a character was he, according to another writer? On a day like this, he added a little sparkle to the screen, making it better to remember him for the laughs than the tears.

Fans may know him for a number of roles, but Steven Soderbergh’s 2001 remake of Ocean’s Eleven will be the first to recognize him. He played Terry Benedict, a Las Vegas casino manager, who Andy Garca played him in. Three years later, he reprised the lead in Ocean’s Twelve, the sequel.

Michael made an appearance on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and My Blueberry Nights in the 2000s. His most recent acting success came in 2012 when he appeared in two Royal Pains episodes as a casino host.

Bree, his daughter, Michael and Lincoln, and his granddaughter Jaxon are all left by the actor’s side.
