Prior to their apparent breakup in 2020, Jessica Mulroney and the Duchess were reportedly close friends. Now, according to reports, she may be writing a tell-all book.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not held back when it comes to airing their grievances with the royal family, but now it seems Meghan is set to be in the firing line.
The Mirror revealed last week that that Jessica Mulroney – Meghan’s former best friend – could be poised to write a tell-all book, which may include some intimate insights into their friendship and subsequent fall-out. And now insiders have revealed Jessica’s true feelings around the saga.
Once upon a time, Meghan and Jessica were close. Meghan called Jessica when Harry proposed, and the Mulroney family played important roles at Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018.
However, the two women haven’t seen one another for years, according to sources who claim Meghan abruptly ended her relationship with Jessica in 2020 after she had a relationship with influential Sasha Exeter.

Jessica’s apparent decision to cut ties was said to be deeply hurt. She complained that their friendship had ended. Jessica is aware of the burial locations of the bodies. An insider told the Daily Mail that Meghan will be concerned.
And people in the publishing world are circling, with an advance of $1million apparently on the table. A source told the Mirror: “Jessica’s explosive story is the one publishers want to get their hands on. She could command up to a seven-figure dollar sum depending on what she is prepared to say.
Jessica’s perspective and her time spent in the royal spotlight as friends with Meghan are of utmost interest. People would be eager to learn what actually transpired between them in Jessica’s book. Here is the true story royal watchers are asking for.

Jessica was deceived and hurt by these false accusations swirling her, the insider continued. She has experienced emotional suffering since she was actually put through the mud in 2020, watching from the sidelines as it all erupted in falsehoodhood and unable to respond.
After being canceled, this might be her chance to put the allegations against her.
She has the receipts, she claims. Writing a book would give her the chance to reclaim her power and refute the falsehoods that were spread during the bridesmaids’ dress fitting in 2018 for Meghan’s wedding to Harry because no one else at the time had a voice for her and helped her to get the truth out.
Jessica would finally be able to correct all the false narratives that have been fabricated if she pursues a book deal and explain what actually happened at the time.
Jessica has stated that there is “absolutely not” an autobiography in the works, giving the mystery of the broken friendship a new life. However, sources claim Jessica still “has an axe to grind” with the Duchess.
It’s a complete switch up for the former friends. Meghan first met Jessica when she was filming legal drama Suits in Toronto and the stylist went on to attend her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018, having helped keep their dates in Canada and London secret in the summer of 2016.
In her 2022 Netflix documentary, Meghan shared footage of the night Prince Harry proposed in 2017 – where she FaceTimed her friend ‘Jess’ as she walked the grounds of Kensington Palace.
Brian and John, Jessica’s twin sons, performed a significant role at Meghan and Harry’s 2018 wedding, assisting with Jessica’s veil’s carriage down St. George’s Chapel aisle. Ivy, her daughter, also played a significant role in Meghan’s wedding, working alongside Princess Charlotte.
After posting a call to action in support of Black Lives Matter, Canadian lifestyle influencer Sasha Exeter publicly accused Jessica of having “textbook white privilege” and having “very problematic behavior and antics.”
In a comment on Exeter’s video, Jessica apologized initially. However, when Exeter later shared a private message from Jessica, who allegedly alluded to filing a lawsuit for libel, things got heated.
Jessica’s television series I Do, Redo was pulled by Canadian network CTV in the wake of the controversy, and she said she was “stepping away” from her regular work commitments, including Good Morning America appearances.
Jessica seemingly addressed rumours that she and Meghan had grown apart amid the scandal, posting on her Instagram Stories in September 2020: “I’m going to tell this once and for all. Meghan and I are family. She is the kindest friend and has checked up on me everyday.”
Meghan and Jessica haven’t been seen together since, which was once a regular occurrence. They don’t even follow one another, in fact.
Jessica was not mentioned in Spare, and she was notably absent from the Netflix series With Love, Meghan, which featured several of her close friends.
According to a source close to the source, Jessica and Meghan’s friendship was already in trouble when the influencer row broke out because Meghan allegedly believed she was trying to “make a career out of the friendship.”
