The Duchess of Sussex wants to expand her lifestyle brand’s reach in the coming year as well as her plans to introduce new products and establish roads in the publishing industry.

The past 12 months proved a huge year for Meghan Markle, as she launched her brand As Ever and debuted her Netflix show With Love, Meghan, solidifying herself in the lifestyle space. And it seems 2026 will be even bigger for the Duchess of Sussex, as she has set her sights on a major expansion for her brand.

A source close to Meghan’s office claims that she is in talks to start publishing a cookbook in the first few months of the year, with As Ever’s drop of new products as well. Meghan completed a number of projects last year, but it is believed that in 2026 she will concentrate solely on the development of her lifestyle brand.

The insider told the Daily Mail: “Meghan is looking at a cookbook for early 2026, and there will be more lifestyle products coming in the spring. 2026 is looking like another big year for her. There will be more wine and definitely more homeware too. But she will ease off selling her biscuit and crepe kits.”

The book is believed to be inspired by the two seasons of her Netflix series, with recipes from the programme allegedly featuring in the cookbook, as well as other favourites she has shared on her Instagram.

While Meghan has alluded to grand plans for 2026, she has yet to confirm any major projects for the coming year. The Mirror has reached out to Meghan’s representatives for comment.

In 2025, the Duchess of Sussex was committed to growing her lifestyle brand, as she made the foray into homewares with her Christmas gifting range.

Meghan launched her As Ever brand in March 2025, the same year as her Netflix show, which primarily focused on her now-famous jams and baking mixes. However, she made a year-round commitment to selling wines, honey, tea, and other edibles.

Meghan’s goods are only accessible online, but the Duchess of Sussex and Soho House in Hollywood co-operated for a special pop-up shop in late 2025, allowing fans to finally purchase her goods in person.

Meghan is reportedly interested in more pop-up shops as part of her 2026 expansion plan, but according to an insider, the potential for more in-person shops will depend on how well her Netflix Christmas special performs.

According to the insider, “They (Netflix) are monitoring the Christmas show to see if it continues to grow,” before creating any legitimate pop-ups or experiences.

The Netflix Christmas special of the show has received mixed reviews from industry critics, despite Netflix’s yet to release viewing numbers. The show, which includes “four pointless crafts, three random ‘friends’, two unseen children, one English prince and a duchess in a pear tree, or at least making pear syrup,” was described by Times columnist Hilary Rose as “unfathomable.”

The Express’ Emily Ferguson gave a much more positive review, claiming the show gives “some handy tips on wrapping awkward items such as cuddly toys and wine bottles.” She wrote: “The special one-off episode, released on the same day the Royal Family welcomes the German President and First Lady to Windsor Castle for a three-day state visit, balances festive fun with personal anecdotes that are sure to please her fan base.”
