Meghan Markle makes latest change to her brand as she prepares for new Netflix show

According to reports, Meghan Markle applied for the rights to sell dried biscuits and crêpe mixes under her new brand in the midst of a waitlist.
The Duchess of Sussex is likely to concentrate on selling packaged and exported foodstuffs in her new business. She announced she had changed the name of her lifestyle business, known as As Ever, in a ‘late bid to be able to do so, it is believed.
However, the decision had some drawbacks, including her ban on marketing clothing under the name As Ever because it resembles a Chinese, affordable fashion store. She has now made preparations for Shrove Tuesday, which will include the pancake mixes.
Meghan’s most recent, widely believed to be final Netflix show also premieres the following week. This is also timely. In With Love, Meghan, the former actress offers tips on how to entertain but it isn’t a cookery show, as first anticipated.

The new trademark filing, made twice under two different As Ever fonts, is for: “Mixes for bakery goods, Cookie mixes, Biscuit mixes, Crêpe mixes”. Last year, the Duchess distributed 50 jars of strawberry jam to her famous friends by launching her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard (ARO). After the US Patent and Trademark Office declared that geographical locations couldn’t be patented, she was denied a trademark for the company last year.
However, the business has been renamed As Ever, and Meghan is now able to return to her “cooking, crafting, and gardening” passions, which she hasn’t “been able to share with you for the past few years.”
With Love, Meghan, meanwhile, will run for eight episodes on Netflix. The series was supposed to premiere on January 15, but Meghan, who lives with Harry in Montecito, California, thought it would be inappropriate for the screen after the wildfires in Los Angeles. She stated last month, “I’m grateful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in thwarting the launch, as we concentrate on the needs of the people in my home state.”
Mum-of-two Meghan “shares personal tips and tricks” in the programme, which is said to “barely mention” Prince Harry. His own Netflix show, which was called POLO, was panned in December.
