The Pont des Invalides and the Pont Alexandre III, which are close to the tragic tunnel where Princess Diana passed sadly, were where Meghan Markle made an appearance on camera in the car as it traveled.
Meghan Markle has filmed herself cruising through Paris with her feet up on the chair, just moments from the Pont d’Alma tunnel, where Prince Harry’s mother Princess Diana sadly lost her life.
The Duchess of Sussex posted a video on her Instagram account of herself travelling in the back of a car. In the clip, she had her feet up on the seat and then she showed off the nearby sights, which some noted was bridges including Pont Alexandre III and the Pont des Invalides, which are on the iconic River Seine.
Meghan is attending Paris Fashion Week, and the video suggests she is heading towards the Pont d’Alma, which is next to the Pont d’Alma tunnel where Dodi Fayed, Dodi Fayed, and Henri Paul, the princess’s boyfriend, died in August 1997.
Her surprise appearance in Paris is thought to be her first trip to Europe since the Invictus Games in 2023, where she attended the event organised by her husband, the Duke of Sussex, in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Meghan and Anne Hathaway, among others, actress Anne Hathaway, director Baz Luhrmann, and international editor of Vogue, Anna Wintour, were present at the Balenciaga fashion line show.
Prince Harry has previously spoken about how the death of his mother had a profound effect on him. Harry explained in his book the moment that his father, now King Charles, woke him up to tell him about his mum’s death.
When asked if he would cry after hearing the news, he replied, “No. No. At that time, you never shed a single tear. You see, I was shocked, I know? Twelve years old. Sort of – 7, 7: 30 in the morning, early. Your father arrives, sits on your bed, presses his hand on your knee, and says, “There’s been an accident.” I was shocked.
Harry continued, “Pa didn’t hug me,'” in the book. He struggled to express emotions in routine circumstances. However, he said, “It’s going to be okay,” and then nothing was going to be okay for a while after that. “
Despite their mother’s tragic passing, Harry and his older brother William had to do their duty and greet some of the mourners while the country was in mourning.
Because I can see William and me smiling, I believe it to be odd. He explained that I still recall the guilt I felt because the people I was meeting were acting in a certain way, perhaps even more so than we did.
Harry later acknowledged that accepting the death of his mother was difficult.
