Meghan Markle has hit a stunning social media milestone that may offer lucrative prospects in the near future, two months after her return to Instagram. At the age of 43, the Duchess of Sussex resurrected Instagram earlier this year, highlighting her individual business ventures, including the eagerly awaited Netflix series “With Love, Meghan” and her lifestyle label “As Ever.”

Meghan had maintained a low profile on social media since leaving her royal duties with Prince Harry in 2020, but her flashy debut on January 1st marked a new chapter in the business world. In a matter of weeks, the mother-of-two amassed a whopping fan base, and now boasts over 2 million followers on her handle @meghan, where she shares candid glimpses of her life and work.

It’s not all about popularity, however, as one royal expert suggests Meghan’s Instagram antics may soon roll into financial wins too. Meghan has two million followers on her personal Instagram account, which is especially noteworthy given that it just opened its doors about seven weeks ago, despite her brief tenure there.

The way she covered Invictus. You would expect that. When you have success, you should use it, and she did, to be completely honest and fair. It has been a huge success.

Eight posts to date from Meghan’s Instagram account, including an endearing one of her and Prince Harry’s Valentine’s Day smooch, were revealed. A heartfelt farewell to her dearly departed rescue beagle, Guy, and a poignant video montage that celebrates her dear family memories and bids her farewell includes the most recent updates.

The duchess has also used her account to promote her upcoming projects. Notably, the highly anticipated series “With Love, Meghan” is set to debut on Netflix on March 4, now merely a fortnight away.
