Controversy surrounds the Duchess of Sussex’s relationship with cosmetics magnate Victoria Jackson, who permits the former actress and Prince Harry to use her enormous mansions.
Following a comical incident in the US, Meghan Markle has been referred to as “hilariously egotistical and breathtakingly hypocritical.”
The Duchess of Sussex’s relationship with wealthy cosmetics mogul Victoria Jackson, 70, has faced scrutiny in the past week after it emerged the entrepreneur has regularly let she and Prince Harry stay at her multiple mansions for free. Meghan’s friendship with Victoria is such she called the mother of three her “safe harbour” in a magazine chat in 2021, at a time when she had slammed the Royal Family in scathing press interviews.
However, The Firm was the one who gave Meghan, 44, and Harry, 41, the “Sex” title, and these royal connections reportedly contributed to the relationship with Victoria, who was inducted in Seneca Falls, New York in 2017, according to reports.
And Jane Moore, a regular on Loose Women, has taken aim at Meghan for this reason. The journalist wrote: “Both hilariously egotistical and breathtakingly hypocritical considering she and Prince Harry have repeatedly criticised the Royal Family that bestowed the ‘Sussex’ title on them.”
Jane, who writes for The Sun, referred to a recent moment in one of Victoria’s lavish pads where Meghan had an interview with a journalist from a magazine. Although there were only the two people in the room, Meghan was formally announced as Meghan, Duchess of Sussex ahead of their meeting. It left social media users in hysterics last week.

According to a journalist who was interviewing her, she was reportedly given the full title as she entered the room of, er, one. “Word has it that the multi-million-dollar home of cosmetics tycoon Victoria Jackson is available to Meghan at all times,” Jane continued in her opinion column.
The Sussexes allegedly “megxited” from the UK five years ago for a life of “financial independence,” but they continue to use their royal connections for profit.
The Duchess of Sussex felt “at home” in the entrepreneur’s properties after her 41st birthday at Victoria’s ranch near Santa Barbara, California. According to a source, “Victoria’s homes make their place in Montecito look like a prison or a beach shack.” They are attracted to the security, the homes are incredible, and they don’t have to pay anything, which is appealing.
