Despite reports that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are believed to have a significant supporter at the streaming giants, the pair may decide to renew their Netflix deal.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be about to make even more money next year, according to reports. However, despite their potential goldmine offer, it’s thought it’s not all good news for the Sussexes.

Their deal with Netflix was reportedly set to come to an end after running out this year. It was said to be bagging the former Royals in the region of £75million.

But after less than impressive viewing figures in return for both Meghan’s With Love, Meghan series and Harry’s documentary about polo, it was suggested the streaming giants were ready to go their separate ways. However, this is said to be far from the truth, with Netflix’s boss Ted Sarandos still seemingly keen to work with the pair.

According to Mail Online, Ted’s support of Meghan can be the pair’s “secret weapon”. Reporter Alison Bishoff says: “There will be a third series of the Duchess’s lifestyle show With Love, Meghan, if she wants to make one. And I hear she does.”

She claims that the pair’s partnership with the streamer could bring them into line with Barack and Michelle Obama’s current mega-deal. Additionally, it’s said any announcement coming up following the second series of With Love, Meghan will include an inside look into the pair’s festive season coming from the former Suits star.

However, the publication claims that their own large team at Archewell Production may need some internal belt tightening while their on-screen showings appear to be continuing. Rumors were made about producing a rom-comedy film based on the book Meet Me At The Lake and a Charles Dickens retelling of Great Expectations.

This may no longer apply, though. Many people think they will just go on forever because Ted Sarandos and Bela Bajaria, the Sussex team, haven’t yet written a script that will convince them enough to get the green light, the Mail reports.

With Love, Meghan was disappointing among the most-watched Netflix titles between January and June 2025, receiving a low ranking of 383. Since its initial broadcast in March, the wholesome series has attracted only 5.3 million viewers worldwide.

Meghan was pictured cooking, gardening, and hosting A-list friends on-screen, but in an embarrassing exchange, repeats of the former actress’s previous TV show Suits, which she starred in before meeting Harry, were placed higher.

Additionally, earlier this month, it was reported that the streaming service has decided not to renew the Sussexes’ contract, which has expired.

In September 2020, it is thought that they both signed a five-year deal worth about $100 million.

Despite the rumors, the pair’s relationship to the company is still unknown.
