Meet Mark Wright’s youngest sibling who ‘doesn’t really care’ for glitzy fame

Little Palma Elizabeth Wright, Mark Wright’s mother and wife Michelle Keegan, are the only children of Mark Wright’s family, but little is known about them.

It is clear Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are the perfect power couple.

For, they’ve been flooded with well wishes from famous friends and fans after welcoming daughter Palma Elizabeth. Yet the most poignant messages across social media are from family, including Mark’s youngest brother Josh. Josh, who praises Mark and Michelle as “amazing”, is himself a father and, like his brother, was a lower league footballer – but it may be where the similarities end. Josh has been lauded for his modesty as he has rarely showed any huge interest in dipping his toes in the media limelight.

“He is absolutely adored by the wider Wright family. He is a lovely boy. While he might not be so high up the hierarchy, he doesn’t really care,” a friend of the Essex family said. They reacted following Josh’s emotional social media message after Palma Elizabeth was born earlier this month.

Josh, 35, wrote, “I’m very proud of you both. Your gorgeous princess will be a wonderful parent, who is flawless in every way. Can’t wait for Palma to develop with her cousins, who will safeguard her forever and create lasting memories. We adore you dearly, my little niece.

Mark, 38, has impressed fans with his role on The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE), and his appearances in I’m aCelebrity… Get Me out of Here! and Strictly Come Dancing.

Josh, who has two sons, has concentrated on football, having played for Leyton Orient, Crawley Town, Leyton Orient, and other teams before. He currently oversees the National League-playing Ebbsfleet United.

The family friend told Mail Online: “Mark is the typical Essex boy while Josh is quite unassuming, modest and unpretentious… He lives a totally different world to Mark and Jess. He is proud of them and what they have done but he doesn’t want to be part of the celebrity life – he never has and he never will.”

Jess, the oldest of the Wright siblings at 39, is a realty TV star, who has also been in TOWIE. Following Palma Elizabeth’s birth, Jess posted on Instagram: “Most beautiful addition to our family. I finally have a niece and I am so in love.”
