While he is on tour, McFly drummer Harry Judd claims his wife Izzy will be “in the trenches” with their three children, but the couple has a male nanny to support them.
McFly’s Harry Judd has said his wife Izzy will be left “in the trenches” with their kids while he is away on tour. The drummer, 39, and podcaster Izzy, 41, have Lola, nine, Kit, eight, and Lockie, three.
When at home, Harry mucks in with the school-run and bath time – but he reveals the family also have a male nanny to help out. He says: “There’s some young actors and actresses where we live who are auditioning for things but also doing other jobs.
Our manny also works in the pub, but he can visit when Izzy is working on the podcast and I’m in the studio.

As he gears up to hit the road in a couple of weeks with bandmates Danny Jones, 39, Dougie Poynter, 37, and Tom Fletcher, 40, Harry, who has been married for 12 years, says good communication is the secret to making marriage work while apart.
With buzzwords like ego, sensitive, or defensiveness, he says, “It’s not an easy thing to do.” The secret is to drop your guard, though, and listen.
McFly lead guitarist Danny faced rumours of marriage woes following a kiss with I’m A Celeb campmate Maura Higgins at the BRIT Awards after party in March. The All About You star then issued a public apology to wife Georgia Horsley, 38, and the pair are back on track.
Harry describes his own relationship as “quite sensitive and emotional,” but when things work out, we have really good conversations. It’s essential to a fulfilling relationship, I am aware of. Any friends who I’ve seen struggle with relationships, please let me know.
As for Izzy, she seems unfazed about Harry being away, saying: “In some ways it’s easier at this stage with the children, because you’re not tied into nap times and those things.”
Izzy and Izzy Judd created their podcast Let’s Talk Neurodivergent Kids with Izzy Judd after one of their children was diagnosed with neurodivergence (they have not revealed which one). Additionally, the couple is promoting a family immunity package to stop back-to-school flies with Holland & Barrett.
Harry, a keen runner, is concerned about his health as he approaches his 40th birthday in December. He claims, “The beer fridge has increased energy drinks and less beer.” Both Dougie and I run and exercise while both are intoxicated. We need to look after ourselves more as we age to make the shows more enjoyable.
Just last year, to new people, honestly! Izzy expressed her mixed feelings about the birth of their adorable family in the magazine, saying, “Possibly if I had Lockie sooner, but it’s difficult to answer that question because I had IVF with Lola, but my boys just came along naturally.
She continued, “Lola was a frozen embryo, and we have one more frozen embryo, which I really struggle over.” Given the remaining embryos in storage, the Escala violinist “sent how many people deal with these issues.”
She expressed her profound curiosity about what might have been, confessing, “I suppose you’ll wonder who that might be. They could have chosen that option, but Lola, who you say, “Could have been Lola,” was present. It involves a lot of emotion.
