Maura Higgins on The Traitors – everything you need to know:

1. She’s been in the Love Island villa, she dominated the I’m A Celeb jungle and now she’s in The Traitors castle. And everywhere she does, Maura Higgins seems totally relaxed – but deadly to her enemies.
2. One such enemy it seems is the Friends star Michael Rapaport. If you have no clue who he was in Friends, he had a recurring role as Phoebe’s boyfriend Gary in the 1999 series. He’s also appeared in several other TV shows and films, but undoubtedly he is more famous in the US than the UK.ir
3. The pair are starring together in the US version of The Traitors, which unlike the US version has always featured celebs. Maura is well known in America as one of the Love Island hosts.
4. She pounced on one of Michael’s comments after he said “we got rid of” when referring to murdered contestants. She asked: “Why did you say, ‘we got rid of’? Does that mean you’re a Traitor?”
5. Appearing to bridle at the accusation, he replied: “Let me tell you something, Maura. I’m as faithful as a faithful….” She cut in: “Why did you say ‘we’? We didn’t – the Traitors did.”
6. Some fans have been delighted with the put-down, with one writing: “Maura being unafraid and standing up to Michael is so far my favoritest part of the new season of #TheTraitorsUS.” Another said of the star: “He’s quite literally insufferable get him off my screen.”
7. But was he actually a Traitor? Actually, no. Neither Maura or Michael are, so perhaps they should both stop bickering!
