A married At First Sight groom, who starred in the most recent episode of the Australian version of the show, has been taken to the hospital after suffering a heart attack.
A Married At First Sight star was rushed to hospital this week after suffering a heart attack. Tony Mojanovski, 53, who starred in the most recent version of the Australian version of the matchmaking show, was admitted to Wollongong Hospital in New South Wales on Thursday morning.
Tony, who appeared on the reality series Morena Farina, admitted that his “love of partying and cigarettes” had taken a toll on him and that he had been having chest pains prior to having surgery. Tony, who admitted it was “pretty scary,” is now recovering after admitting that he hadn’t “felt well for a while.”
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Tony revealed that his chest ‘hadn’t felt right for a long time’, sharing: “Luckily I went straight to the doctors. During the week I wasn’t feeling well. It has been happening for a long time.
“I was just feeling not right, like something was on my chest every now and then, giving me heartburn and stuff like that.”
Tony explained that his health scare was “pretty scary” and that he believed his heart problems may be related to genetics after explaining that his mother had tragically passed away from an aneurysm.
He also acknowledged that his lifestyle may have contributed to his hospital visit, blaming his exaggerated smoking and excessive alcohol consumption. He said, “I was smoking, the cigarettes, the stress, being on the boat, partying, just too much. I missed you, mate. I just need some quiet time to unwind.
Ryan Donnelly, Tony’s MAFS co-star, visited him in the hospital, and they shared a video of the pair hugging as Tony sprang into consciousness. Unfortunately, Tony’s other romantic relationship with his wife, Morena, isn’t quite as friendly. There were high hopes for the couple on the day of their wedding, as it appeared to have a real spark.
However, Tony shocked his bride when he revealed that he wanted a younger partner because he wanted children after only two weeks.
The couple left the experiment shortly after that, with Morena writing, “Good riddance, on her exit card.
Tony told 9Entertainment after their split that he wanted to at least feel the experience, to learn from her, and to learn about the issues facing humanity.
However, it reached a point where I was ducking and weaving and going to see my dog.
