Mark Wright says ‘don’t talk to me’ in parenting admission after baby with Michelle Keegan

Mark Wright jokingly shared the one thing that no one had warned him about when he opened up to his Heart FM listeners about the reality of raising a child this morning.

Mark Wright shared an honest admission about life as a parent by revealing the one thing nobody warned him about.

He became a dad for the first time earlier this month after welcoming a baby girl, Palma, with wife Michelle Keegan. And he gave an update about how things were going when talking with Heart FM co-host Olly Murs this morning.

Former X Factor star Olly kickstarted the conversation after reading a message out from a listener called Lisa who said she was sorting clothes in her room and it was “very tiring”.

When Mark said, “Lisa, I’m going to go back to what you just said there; it’s very tiring sorting your clothes in your room – don’t talk to me about tired right now.

Before Mark, the ex-Towie star, started laughing, “My little baby, Palma, is making me very tired. Olly said, “You look shattered, I turned up this morning.

The dancer remarked, “You know what, it’s your eyes, it’s your eyes, it’s the first time I’ve seen these little bags in all the years I’ve known you, just here, and it’s a dad thing, it’s a parent thing, and all of a sudden you get these little bags under your eyes.”

They never warn you about dad eyes, they say dad bod, so Mark responded, “Yeah, they say dad bod don’t they”!

Olly responded to Mark’s question about his fatherhood, saying, “It is the best thing ever, despite the jokes.” The best thing ever is it. Except for the nightmare I have when I try to wind her after drinking at 2am.

Olly and his wife, Amelia, also welcomed a daughter, Madison, last year, and he previously admitted he “never got a chance to get to know this little baby” after having to leave to go on tour with Take That just two days after she was born.

In order for Mark and Michelle, 38 and 37, to focus on their acting careers while she pursued their acting goals, they wed in 2015.

He stated on his radio show earlier this month, “Yes, it’s a very special feeling, and I can’t really express it in words.”

We’ve been waiting a while, we’ve pursued our goals, our careers, and now we’ve got a baby!
