Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are reportedly only letting immediate family see their new baby as they take time adjusting to their new lives.

The proud parents welcomed Palma Elizabeth Wright into the world on March 6 and told fans they had a “new love”. Netflix star, Michelle, 37, posted a sweet snap of little Palma on Instagram shortly after her birth. But now, she and Mark are said to be keeping access to their daughter strictly limited to their closest family.

A source said, “These first few days have been incredibly precious for both of them, lifting the lid on their family dynamic. They feel incredibly protective of both their child and their family. They simply want to be able to enjoy themselves without the interference of too many others.

They continued, “They’re not thinking too far ahead, and their immediate family will be allowed inside their baby bubble.”

Mark and Michelle’s countdown to Palma’s arrival was unfortunately marred by a terrifying burglary, which left the couple “shaken”. The parents-to-be reportedly locked themselves in their bedroom when their £3.5million Essex mansion was targeted by masked raiders in February.

Before their lavish pad’s alarm system went off, the Brassic star radio host is said to have heard their porch window smash. When four balaclava-clad suspects nearly entered the property, it is thought that Michelle and Mark were inside. When Mark yelled, authorities heard it through the couple’s security system, which advised the raiders to leave the scene in a getaway car. Thankfully, the couple was “very shaken up,” despite the terrifying ordeal, which no one else was aware of.

Happily, they can now concentrate on enjoying their bundle of joy, which Mark, the son of the new dad, described as the “best feeling ever,”.

On their Heart FM radio interview, he mentioned fatherhood while mentioning Olly Murs, a pal of his, on the show: “It’s the biggest accomplishment of my life, but obviously hats go off to my wife, who is a superhero for bringing this baby into the world.

He continued, “It makes you realize what our mothers did for us and what women had to go through,” and he expressed his gratitude for all mothers.

A heartfelt black and white photo of Palma featuring a peek at the baby’s crocheted bonnet was posted on Instagram by Michelle. Michelle gushed, “Together we have a new love – our little girl – to share,” as the baby girl’s tiny hand is being lovingly held by her parents.

Being a father was “the best feeling ever,” Mark said to Olly, who welcomed his own daughter Maddison with wife Amelia last year. Every morning, I’m so excited to see her face that I get up.
