Rasmus Hojlund, a Manchester United winger, has signed for Italian champions Napoli on a season-long loan, while Antony has signed for Real Betis for a permanent fee of £21.6 million.

The 22-year-old Hojlund will make a permanent £38 million transfer to the Serie A side next summer, signing a deal with the club that includes an obligation to buy clause.

After impressing for them on loan last term with a score of nine goals in 26 games and helping them reach the Uefa Conference League final, Brazilian Antony signs a five-year deal with the La Liga club.

When Antony left Ajax in 2022, he cost United £81.3 million and made 62 Premier League starts, scoring five goals and adding three assists.

Additionally, he is still the club’s most expensive signing ever. He found it difficult at Old Trafford, just like Hojlund.

He struggled for form on the field and was unable to persuade manager Ruben Amorim that he could contribute to the team’s success despite the suspension of a police investigation into allegations of domestic abuse.

Following a challenging 2024-2005 campaign in which he only scored four league goals, Denmark international Hojlund was also ruled by Amorim as being overdue.

Hojlund had a strong desire to stay at United after signing a £72m deal from Atalanta in 2023.

Amass, a highly regarded player, signs on to Owls.

Meanwhile, United loaned teenage left-back Harry Amass to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, who is struggling.

The highly regarded England youth international made his senior debut earlier this year by playing for Leicester City in a Premier League game against Leicester City on his 18th birthday.

Amass, who made six more first-team appearances last term, expressed his excitement at the completion of the event.
