Following an alleged attack during a North Wales amateur football game, a 35-year-old man was released on conditional bail.
Following an incident that occurred on January 17 during the Ardal North West League game between Trearddur Bay and Porthmadog, the man was detained on suspicion of assault.
Social media has seen a lot of footage of the incident at the Gwynedd Y Traeth (The Beach) stadium.
In order to obtain an evidential statement and formally include it in the case file submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service, District Inspector Iwan Jones said, “We are appealing for the person who filmed the video to come forward.”
Following a committee’s erroneous general meeting on Sunday, Trearddur Bay apologized for the incident and has since released player Tom Taylor.
The club continued, “We will fully cooperate with any external investigations or disciplinary processes and will not make any further comment while these matters are ongoing.”
The FAW (Fooseball Association of Wales) is conducting an investigation as well.
