Married At First Sight UK star Leigh Harris has revealed her new romance with stunning photos from a night out in London, following her split from wife Leah Tyrer on the E4 show
A MAFS UK star has revealed they’re very much loved-up months on from their bitter split from their show ex.
Leigh Harris has candidly shared her journey to love after a tumultuous ride with former TV spouse Leah Tyrer. Leigh shared a series of glamorous photos from a special night out in London.
Dressed in a chic white mini dress and a matching fur coat, with her long hair elegantly pulled back, the reality TV bride saved the best snaps for last. The 30-year-old NHS clinical coder from Romford was one of the hopeful singles who entrusted their love lives to experts Mel Schilling, Paul C Brunson and Charlene Douglas this year.
The Essex personality posted pictures from her evening at The Royal Albert Hall, where she watched Cirque du Soleil with friends, including fellow MAFS star Davide Anica and his boyfriend Nate. But it’s the tantalising photos saved till the end that have thrilled her followers.
Leigh shared the array of photos on social media, teasing: “An unforgettable dump. The best night with my favourite people.” She added: “You might want to keep swiping to the end.”
Rounding off the joyful pictures with Davide, Nate, and her friend Nicole are snapshots with her new flame. The enamoured couple can be seen leaning into each other for a kiss on a London street, looking cosy. The final photo captures the pair sharing a smooch on a Tube platform.
Delighted fans responded with comments like: “Aww you so deserve LOVE.” Another fan praised: “So very happy for you Leigh.” A third echoed: “Aww so happy for you Leigh, you deserve happiness.” Her MAFS co-star and close friend Davide Anica wrote: “‘I’m just so happy. Loving this for you.”
Following their televised split, Leigh’s ex Leah has also found new joy with her partner. The TV personality is now in a relationship with Maz Pacheco, a defender who plays for Women’s Super League side Everton and previously represented England at youth level.
She officially confirmed their romance with a social media reveal on Instagram back in November. Leigh has recently spoken out about her former spouse following their rocky marriage documented on the programme.
Leigh was paired with construction consultant Leah Tyrer, aged 35, a match that seemed perfect on paper. However, Leigh felt that Leah lacked sufficient masculine traits, confessing to cameras that she may have made a “mistake”. Despite numerous fiery disputes during the experiment, Leigh and Leah reached the final vows along with four other couples.
At their final altar meeting, the pair mutually agreed to end their relationship after a row ensued when Leigh kissed fellow bride Leisha Lightbody during a girls’ day out.
“We’ve struggled with communication, trust, misunderstood feelings and unwanted behaviours. Your behaviour, jokes and remarks towards other women only ever caused me to be more closed off,” Leigh declared in her final vows.
The feuding pair ultimately decided to part ways during the vow renewal ceremony, and both have since moved forward with their lives. Yet relations between the two have deteriorated significantly since then.
Leigh revealed she’s been “blocked” by her former partner and expressed her dismay upon viewing footage where Leah branded her an “attention seeking b***h.”
Audiences following their journey described their union as among the most volatile featured on the series.
