Sam Vanderpump, a reality star, will begin testing next month to determine whether he will receive a liver transplant, but the actor has already shared the heartbreaking reality of his condition.

Sam Vanderpump, 28, claims he “doesn’t want to die.” The reality tv star is currently awaiting confirmation that he qualifies for a liver transplant.

He admitted earlier this year that he “nearly died” from liver and kidney failure. He was born with congenital hepatic fibrosis and polycystic kidney disease, but they did not show up in him until the flu struck him in December.

He now acknowledges that there is no chance for his liver to recover, and he will have his liver evaluated to see if he can receive a transplant. On Monday’s Made in Chelsea episode, he told Ollie Locke, “There is no chance of my liver getting better, and he said I wouldn’t be having this call with you if I thought you could make it through the next four or five years.”

The nephew of Real Housewives icon Lisa Vanderpump has revealed his condition and how he has been dealing with the devastating news in a new interview.

The actor claimed he was “sobbing” as he revealed his condition to his pal Ollie a few days before the emotional episode was filmed. Sam currently has a 50-50 chance of surviving after he reaches the age of 53. Although it was the “scariest thing ever” for him to learn that a woman had a transplant when she was 40 years old, he was comforted when he learned she needed one.

Sam was given antibiotics as doctors battled to save him when he was admitted to a hospital earlier this year because of his sepsis. “I was crying and sweating, and I didn’t know where I was.” It was terrifying in those first few days. You want to pass away. He told the Daily Mail, “It was terrifying.”

His fiancee Alice Yaxley, who is expecting their first child, said: “I never for a second thought he was going to pass away. Sam is a strong, tenacious person. Sam, anyone who has met you knows that you will always be fine because of something. “An energy”

Sam was filming the E4 reality show with his aunt, Lisa, when he received a notification on the NHS phone app, stating he needed a liver transplant. On August 21, he received a message reading: “Dear Samuel Vanderpump, we reviewed your latest CT scan and the findings are keeping well within your known diagnosis… We feel the best way is for us to organise a liver transplant assessment.”

Sam was informed that he needed a transplant through this process. Sam is unsure of when his transplant will be at this time because he acknowledges that other patients are “higher up on the list”.

Sam revealed earlier this year that despite having a terrible battle with sepsis, he was close to passing away due to the failure of his liver and kidneys. Sam openly discussed his terrifying experience while also providing insight into their relationship.

He said, “Over Christmas, we went through a small episode where I got really, really ill together.” bringing up his illness’s sudden onset. He explains that a genetic disorder caused an infection that quickly turned into sepsis. I contracted sepsis due to a genetic condition that caused it to turn out to be quite bad. I had a close call while I was in the hospital; I had already passed away.

Sam’s ordeal began with severe back pain and dehydration, which he initially thought were symptoms of the flu. His condition, however, quickly deteriorated, giving him delirium. Alice took the situation seriously and recognized the severity. My fiancee literally saved my life by calling the ambulance, Sam says.

Doctors later informed him that if he had been admitted just 24 hours later, it might have been too late, as his liver and kidneys had begun to fail.
