Made in Chelsea star Jessica Woodley has welcomed her first child. The reality TV star, 30, shared her happy news with her followers along with the first photo of her newborn.

She joined the hit reality series in 2015 where she dated Jamie Laing before quitting in 2017. Jessica revealed in June that she was expecting a baby with her filmmaker partner, Mark Logan.

Jessica gave birth at their Irish home, and the couple is now looking forward to their next adventure. She shared her happy news, saying, “Heart is broken open at our home after we welcomed our son on Friday.”

The unwavering support of Mark and his brothers, the woman who lives there. Thank you all so much for this authentic psychedelic experience.

“The empowerment and space to Trust.” Jessica had announced her pregnancy over the summer by sharing a stunning photo taken in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland.

She remarked, “Motherhood, I appreciate you choosing me as my sweet child. Growing you is a privilege. You have such a sweet heart. You are currently my Guru. Thank you for giving us a gift with your grace, your father and I are holding out for each other.

Jessica opened up on her pregnancy journey to OK! Magazine where she admitted to not recognising herself after leaving Made in Chelsea. She shared: “My first trimester was tricky, and I am definitely experiencing nausea, even at 28 weeks, but it’s all teaching me newfound resilience.

Throughout the course of this pregnancy, I feel like I’m building up strength. Physically and emotionally challenging at times, but Mark is so encouraging. Without him, I’m not sure if I could accomplish this.

She revealed that her pregnancy had led her to realize that she had always wanted to be a mother. Jessica was craving Masala chai and salt and vinegar crisps.

Jessica said, “I’m very aware that this child will be my teacher, and I really respect that we learn a lot from children. This sense of nurture is so powerful that I’m eager to take it.

“I worry less now, and I used to be such a worrier.” I’d make up scenarios, make up worries, and then become terrified. I’ve discovered how to self-regulate, which will benefit me as a mother.

Jessica previously acknowledged that she was still dealing with the “trauma” of reality TV appearances, which had earned her fame. She regretted participating in MIC because she called for people to “cancel reality TV,” and she called it “dangerous” in 2020.

Jessica stated in her most recent interview that she felt “very grateful” for that period of time because, without it, I wouldn’t have experienced solitude to the fullest extent and wouldn’t have had to look inside myself as much as I did.

“I’m really grateful for the difficult times I once perceived as challenging, but now I see them as gifts.” Actually, I no longer recognize who I am. I have a better understanding, more self-awareness, and a lower level of ignorance. As a woman, I feel much more powerful now than I did in the past.
