Machado Garry to co-headline UFC Qatar in November

On November 22nd, Ireland’s Ian Machado Garry will face former welterweight champion Belal Muhammad in the co-main event of UFC Qatar.

After falling to Shavkat Rakhmonov for the first time in the organization in December 2024, the 27-year-old defeated Carlos Prates in his final UFC fight in April.

In May, American Muhammad lost his belt to Jack Della Maddalena, and he will now face Machado Garry in a title contest.

The winner will face Islam Makhachev’s first title defense at UFC 322 in November when the winner will face the Australian Della Maddalena.

Makhachev, a Russian, vacated his lightweight title to compete with the Australian.

In a lightweight fight, Armenian Arman Tsarukyan and Dan Hooker from New Zealand will square off in the card’s main event in Qatar.
