Luis Diaz has been signed by Bayern Munich from Liverpool for a reported fee that could rise to 75 million euros ($86.7).
The Colombian, who won the Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup while playing for Anfield, has a contract with the Bundesliga champions until 2029.
One of the best left-wingers in the Premier League has been brought in by Luis Diaz, according to Bayern’s CEO, Jan-Christian Dreesen.
He brings FC Bayern’s real player personality. To date, he has won silverware with each of his clubs.

The 28-year-old, who left Porto for Liverpool in January 2022, described his transition as “very happy.”
Being a part of FC Bayern means a lot to me, he said. One of the biggest clubs in the world, they claim. With my personality and my style of play, I want to help my new team.
We’ll work hard every day as a team to achieve our goal of winning every title.
Last year, Diaz made 50 appearances and scored 17 goals in all competitions while managing Arne Slot’s team won the English title for the 20th time in a record-equal amount of time. In his 63 international starts, Colombia has scored 18 goals.
As future rumors grew about the forward, Liverpool lost 4-2 to AC Milan in a friendly game on Saturday in Hong Kong.
Bayern can use Diaz’s signing as a quality replacement for Jamal Musiala, who has been ruled out for a “long time” after breaking his leg and dislocating his ankle at the most recent Club World Cup.
Meanwhile, Germany has been a significant player in Liverpool’s recent transfer business, with the club signings of Ekitike and Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen and Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen. Additionally, Leverkusen acquired defensive player Jarell Quansah.
Bayern made its first significant transfer fee this off-season, after reducing its wage bill and lowering its sales of Thomas Muller and Leroy Sane.
