Lucy Spraggan, the X Factor star, has maintained a close friendship with music mogul Simon Cowell, who has had a successful career since appearing on the talent show in 2012.
Lucy Spraggan has said that she has to “go through” Lauren to speak to Simon Cowell, despite him walking her down the aisle. Simon and Lucy have been close ever since she competed on The X Factor back in 2012, but she still doesn’t have direct contact with him.
Lucy has argued that Simon never communicates with her first, and that Lauren, Simon’s partner, is her only option when she wants to communicate with him. This is however caused by Simon’s lack of access to his personal cell phone.
Due to this, Simon can only be reached through Lauren Silverman, his fiance. Lucy and her wife Emilia Smith frequently stay with Simon and Lauren at their homes in Los Angeles and the Cotswolds as well as taking trips to Barbados, despite not having regular phone conversations.
I communicate with Lauren constantly, Lucy told The Sun. But since Simon isn’t using a phone, I can speak with him.”
Last year, Simon was significant at Lucy’s wedding. At the ceremony, he led the singer down the aisle and read a poem.
Lucy asked Simon to perform the honor during a vacation. The singer-songwriter said: “It’s as nice to have a close bond with anyone as it is to have a close bond with anyone,” in an exclusive interview with The Mirror. He is a truly exceptional and individual person.
There are a lot of people who I talk to a lot about him, and there is a lot of people who I can only talk to about them because of how well they’ve treated me.
I think Simon is a great guy because I’ve had nothing but great times with him and many really important conversations with him.
Before their breakup in 2019, Lucy and Georgina Gordon had previously been married. During their six-year marriage, the two women discussed wanting to start a family together.
Lucy has previously stated that she doesn’t anticipate having children in the future. She stated, “I don’t want kids. All of my former friends who had children were like, “Luce, don’t do it.” I adore them, but I don’t.
“Em has some health issues herself. And, like, I do music and I do my job so that I can experience peace in between. I feel like I couldn’t give what I need to give to my career if I had a child, and I wouldn’t have any f*****g peace If I had a child. It’s dogs, dogs for me.”
