Casey O’Gorman, the All Stars winner, has admitted to having an injury and going out in the Love Island villa.

Just days before the ITV2 show’s live final on Monday night, it was reported that Casey, 28, took a break from filming after sustaining a head injury in the villa. He was also said to have passed out and undergone medical examination.

After being crowned the second series winner alongside 33-year-old Gabby Allen, the islander now recalls the experience. Casey participated in a Q&A on Instagram while they were returning from South Africa this week.

One follower asked: “We need a story time of the pass out incident”. Casey responded by taking a selfie of himself with a cut on his forehead. He claimed in the caption that he had “hit” his head on a villa wardrobe while packing and then “passed out from all the blood”

Replying to the fan, he said: “Right okay!! I then hit my head very hard on the wardrobe handle as I was packing my suitcase. I started bleeding a lot, and I’m terrible with blood, so I suddenly went into shock. But I’m all okay! Didn’t need stitches and I never got rushed to hospital”.

He also shared details of the incident on his Snapchat account. He also stated to his followers on that platform, “For those who wondered, I walked into a wardrobe packing my suitcase before the final. I snorted my head because I can’t handle blood, and I then went out.

In the live-streaming of the Monday night’s live final, host Maya Jama named Casey and Gabby as the latest All Stars winners. They were the runner-up couple, joining Grace Jackson and Luca Bish as the other two. Tom Clare, Casey’s friend, won the show’s first season with Molly Smith last year.

Following the final, Casey told fans in a message: “Thank you EVERYONE for the support it honestly means the world and we’re still in disbelief. Thank you most importantly to my best mate]Tom] you are one of a kind. Now you can log out of my account”.

Whilst Gabby said in a separate post: “GUESS WHO’S BACK. Ahhhh I can’t put into words how shocked, happy, grateful &amp, overwhelmed I feel right now”! She added in her message: “We can’t thank you enough for voting for us as your winners, it means the world to us and we’re eternally grateful. What a fantastic experience, and I discovered the [Casey] I needed.
