Angel ‘ Angel ‘ Swift may be a relatively new face in reality television, but she has previously had dates with Towie singer Dan Edgar.
A new Love Island bombshell enjoyed secret dates with a cast member of The Only Way Is Essex before entering the villa. Angelique ‘Angel’ Swift became one of the new entrants to ITV’s long-running dating show this week.
The 26-year-old blonde bombshell immediately sparked a flurry of interest when she entered the 2025 contestants’ homes. Angel may be shielding a broken heart, it is claimed that she had been dating a reality star before setting off to Majorca.
According to a report, Angel and Dan Edgar, who fans of reality TV will know from Towie, first started dating. The 35-year-old reality star, who has famously previously dated Towie co-star Ella Rae Wise, has been a regular on the ITVBe series since 2015.
Dan and Ella began dating in early 2024 but broke up at the beginning of this year. A heartbroken Ella was subsequently seen on the reality series Celebrity Big Brother.
But in recent months, Dan and Angel reportedly got close. However, it seems the romance did not pan out as Angel is now starring on Love Island and looking for a romance.
The dating show star’s friend told The Sun they spent time hanging out together during one of Marbella’s May bank holidays. They were present at various events, and they both had fun together.
A friend of Dan’s, on the other hand, claimed that it was just one date after his breakup with Ella. Dan was in fact a very single person at the time.
The Mirror has contacted representatives of Dan and Love Island for comment. Angel drew attention when she made her entry to the villa towards the end of this week – with a possible love triangle emerging.
Harry Cooksley, 30, who is a partner with Helena Ford, and her entrance led to a cheeky conversation. Helena, 29, and Harry and Helena, 29, already had to deal with a number of on-and-off-again recoupments, and Angel’s arrival appears to have caused even more unrest.
Harry and the newcomer sat down to talk about their current relationships and sat down with her as quickly as possible to get her graft on. And their exchanges quickly turned sour.
When Harry inquired about mornings, Harry said, “You like the mornings, do you? ” What about…”? Then he glared at her intently and made sexual hints.
Harry continued, “Cause I’m into that.” “Ends up with some spooning” Angel responded by saying that she enjoys being a “little spoon.”
The bombshell was then questioned by Harry if she would find new men all the time attractive. She then admitted that she experiences feelings when we sleep together. I’m like, “Ah, I’m in love,” so I can’t sleep with them.
Harry then made the flirtatious joke that “we might have to hold off on that spoon until later in the morning.” Angel inquired if Angel, who is 30-years-old, was ready to leave and join the rest of the villa as the conversation came to a close.
But Harry then said, “I want to stay with you.” Fans left wondering how his romance with Helena would develop. On Sunday night, Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX at 9 p.m.
