Love Island stars Olivia and Alex Bowen’s devastating confession after tragic miscarriage

Alex Bowen, a bombshell, entered the villa in 2016 with a race-carrying thrill. He and fellow Islander Olivia fell in love, and they became the first couple to wed in 2018 together. Fast forward to the present day, and the couple’s relationship hasn’t slowed down. Abel, their son, is now two years old, and there is a second child on the way.
Alex and Olivia maintain the spark after almost 10 years of their relationship and discuss what he learned about fatherhood in an exclusive conversation with OK! The 33-year-old admits being completely caught off guard when he learned that Olivia, who is 31 years old, was expecting again. He recalls that Liv actually took the test a little early and that we had been trying. I thought, “Oh, nothing’s happening,” because it had stated that I wasn’t pregnant. Then, as I sat in my seat and waited out, she suddenly ran in excited. I was shocked but so happy nonetheless. It will be amazing to have two kids because I’ve always wanted a large family.

Neo-Western Yellowstone was the show Alex was so drawn to. He laughs and says, “I want to be a cowboy, I think.” “It would be incredible to have a ranch,” he said. Although Liv, who owns horses, has been attempting to get me into horseback riding, I’m having a little trouble, so we’ll see.
Olivia was forced to labor for 30 hours with Abel Jacob, aka AJ, in June 2022, according to Alex, and is now more nauseous as a result. Liv has been a little ill, but she always seems very optimistic. We’re just taking it day by day because she actually forgot how she felt when she had Abel. We’re very excited. I’m not sure what it means. It’s going to be crazy if I get a dad again.”
And little Abel is already displaying all the signs of a loving sibling. “It’s amazing how much I love Liv.” I’ve kissed his forehead about 25 times when I carry him from the top of the stairs to the bottom. He has also always been that way.

Jackson, Liv’s brother and partner, and Abel makes a baby he can hold very gently with him. He’ll be my favorite big brother, in my opinion.
The couple revealed last week that they are expecting a girl this time around in their sweet gender reveal video, despite the couple’s lack of knowledge about their baby’s gender with Abel. Olivia explained that she had been carrying twins but had lost one after eight weeks, which added to the sadness that was present.
Alex acknowledges that fatherhood has been a steep learning curve. He is using his lack of a father figure as inspiration to be the “best dad I can” because he was raised without one.
He claims that because I’m the only child, everything revolved around me. However, I have learned patience from Abel. Kids don’t behave in the same manner as adults, which is okay. You must allow them to develop into “your own little people.”
Making time for themselves can be difficult because of a busy schedule, an excited toddler, a new baby on the way, and busy careers like Olivia’s career in interior design.
You just need to pretend you’re still getting to know each other, Alex says. Even if it’s literally someone watching Abel to get together for a movie, you need to make sure you have fun date nights. Making time for yourself is just the way it is.

Alex seems well aware of the positive and negative aspects of reality TV, reflecting on his time on Love Island. Just a tan and a laugh, I guess. He admits that I had no idea what Love Island was all about. However, you must be cautious with your responses afterward. I participated in the MTV series Just Tattoo of Us, in which couples choose a new tattoo for their spouses without their seeing it. I currently have a tattoo removed. However, I now have Abel and a second one on the way thanks to Love Island, where I met my wife. That is the highlight of the entire process.
He acknowledges having a hard time with trolling, but on a more serious note. It’s challenging. This world has a lot of nasty people. You can’t control what they say if you give them a phone. They can say anything. You’ll never lose them, “says the man.
Alex is passionate about mental health, which is the inspiration for Pure 45. He sighs, “No one ever seems happy.” I work out because I always dislike my appearance. I occasionally put a vest under my T-shirt because I feel too thin if I haven’t worked out in a while. So I make an effort to assist those who experience that stuff as well.

We inquire if he has any plans to work on reality TV. I’m not sure, but maybe strictly speaking? “he tells us”. However, I can’t dance, so I’d probably pop a hip. Something physically similar to SAS: Who Dares Wins would be fun to do.
Alex is happy to concentrate on Pure 45 and his family, for the time being. He says, “We’re very fortunate that we’re still carrying out the work we’ve done for the past ten years.
With the arrival of baby number two, their next chapter is just beginning, and Alex and Olivia’s story is one of Love Island’s greatest successes.
