A former Love Island star has sparked a major backlash from fans after sharing the luxurious gift he bought for his newborn son.
Jonny Mitchell and his partner Simone Engelhardt announced the birth of their first child together in November this year after undergoing a traumatic birth.

He broke his social media silence with a new post posted just last night (December 29), but it appears to have been removed as a result of complaints from Jonny’s followers.
Jonny went to a luxury jewelry store to purchase a watch for his son, according to the now-deleted video. He settled on a classic-looking Rolex because he wanted a watch that would increase in value as his son grew older.
Later, he shows his son’s tummy with the Rolex balancing. The watches range in price from £5, 000 to $40, 000, depending on the model, and can even reach the hundreds of thousands for more expensive models like the Cosmograph Daytona.
Some fans argued that the item was “his time” the newborn needed rather than “the newborn needed” given the cost and age of his son, leading to the post’s prompt deletion.
