Louis Vuitton is known as a luxury powerhouse – and now they’ve entered the world of beauty with their debut makeup line, but people aren’t impressed. It’s no secret the french designer label is pricey, but shoppers have been left gobsmacked at the price of the lip balm and lipsticks.
Usually known for dominating the luxury accessory department, Louis Vuitton have just launched a brand new beauty collection called La Beauté – but fans are slamming it as “tone deaf”.
Featuring 55 lipsticks (a nod to the LV Roman numerals), 10 lip balms, and eight quad eyeshadow palettes, each product comes in collectible, refillable Louis Vuitton packaging – and you can already see it featuring in aesthetic Instagrammable makeup posts.

The products were created in collaboration with makeup legend Dame Pat McGrath, owner of Pat McGrath Labs, and famous persona loved MUA, who praised the work ethic and innovation that went into creating La Beauté Louis Vuitton.
