Denise Welch, the actress for Loose Women, has revealed that she finds one aspect of her husband Lincoln’s behavior to be “difficult.”

Denise Welch has openly discussed a “difficult” family dynamics, revealing that her husband, Lincoln Townley, is sometimes the one with whom she occasionally conflicts with the most.

The Loose Women star, 67, made the admission while speaking about life as a grandmother and the joy brought by her grandson Theo, the son of Lincoln’s eldest boy, Lewis.

Denise described Theo as a “changed our lives” in a statement on the Loose Women: Just Between Us podcast, explaining how both she and Lincoln have grown up together.

My grandson, Theo, has just completely transformed our lives. We have a crush on that child, Denise said. He is the younger brother of Lewis, and he is wonderful.

She emphasized that she and Lincoln are fortunate to have a healthy and happy relationship with Theo’s parents, and that she is also the mother of Matty Healy and Louis Healy, both of whom were married to Tim Healy. Every moment they spend with Theo is entirely a choice, according to Denise, unlike some grandparents who feel compelled to follow a routine.

She continued, “We beg and plead for him.” We don’t compare to some of my friends who are essentially forced to hire grandparent babysitters. It’s joyful to have him.

Denise and Lincoln do occasionally privately question parenting decisions, despite her readily admitting it is not their place of interfering. Lincoln and I occasionally need to take a deep breath because we don’t always agree, she said. However, it is their child and serves them well.

Denise admitted that her biggest “problem” is actually closer to home, despite this understanding. She joked, “My husband is the person I have a problem with,” blabbed Lincoln, explaining how fiercely protective she has become, occasionally to her dismay.

Lincoln rips my phone out of my hand if I’m in front of Theo, she said. He will slam on me and push me out of the way if I change my diaper.

Denise added that Lincoln’s instincts can still be challenging, despite the fact that they are rooted in love. She laughed and called him “the overprotective one;” “You do know that I have two children — I’ve done this before.”

After meeting through their work in the entertainment sector, the couple wed in 2013 and have since spoken out openly about supporting one another through both personal and professional difficulties. Denise insists that her overzealous grandparenting is rooted in devotion, something she ultimately values, despite acknowledging that it can be “difficult”.
