To celebrate their anniversary, Carol McGiffin and her husband, Mark Cassidy, have a carousel of extraordinary images of their lives, including topless photos of Mark and date nights.
Loose Women star Carol McGiffin has given fans a glimpse into her marriage. The broadcaster shared snaps of her husband, Mark Cassidy, 43, as she celebrated her toyboy. While Carol, 65, usually keeps her marriage relatively private, she shared her ‘favourite photos’ of them over the past year. One snap included them drinking white wine in Saint Tropez, while another poked fun at Mark’s sleeping position.
I don’t typically gush about my other half on here, Carol sweetly wrote in the caption. However, because we’ve been separated for a while and we’re reunited tonight (hence the cheeze on toast music choice), I’m going to today! In light of this, here are some of my favorite images of him/us from this year.
No artificial intelligence, filter, or other fakery was employed on picture 7! With perseverance and some discipline, it all came together! She also surprised her followers by posting the caption “Yep. My husband is that, “.

The couple met back in 2008 at the Loose Women wrap party when Mark was 26 and Carol was 48. 10 years later, they decided to marry in secret in Bangkok, Thailand.
Carol previously addressed her relationship, saying that despite their 22-year separation occasionally “bother” her, they are content and have consistently outsmarted.
It’s nice to be able to prove everyone wrong, she said to Woman’s Own Magazine. “Initially, the papers were saying, Give it five minutes.” However, it is not about that; it is not about anyone else. We are still present.
One person said, “Awwwww! Fans were thrilled to see more of Carol and Mark’s relationship!” Love Mark’s unusual and unexpected GUSH, his 6-pack is impressive, and these photos are stunning. One person remarked, “Love ya both, and Happy Birthdays to you both, and it seems like you live the dream.”
After Carol left the renowned panel in 2023, other fans took advantage of the opportunity to express how much they had missed seeing her on Loose Women.
She first appeared on the show from 2000 until her first departure in 2013, and then again from 2018 until 2023. Since leaving, Carol hasn’t held back in her criticism of ITV ’s daytime lineup, branding shows like Loose Women, This Morning, and Good Morning Britain as “rubbish” and out of touch with audiences.
Speaking on Dan Wootton ’s Outspoken podcast in the summer, the former Loose Women regular slammed ITV for reportedly trying to win back viewers by bringing in influencers.
They can say, “People don’t watch TV anymore, they go online for news or entertainment or anything, or streaming services,” she said. “Maybe it’s just because it’s rubbish and they’re justn’t very good at it any more.” That is not what they think.
She also criticized ITV’s theory that influencers would draw younger viewers, saying, “It’s ridiculous that ITV thinks, “If we get all these young influencers on, everyone will start watching daytime TV.”
