Former Love Island star Olivia Attwood is busier than ever – presenting hit TV shows, making documentaries and hosting a KISS radio show every weekend. But the TV star, 34, still loves to fit in the occasional big night out, telling Mirror she’s even been known to take to the airwaves with a sore head on a Sunday afternoon.

“I am very professional and I don’t go to work hungover, apart from the radio – and I need to stop doing that,” she reveals. “Even though the radio is recorded live, there’s this weird feeling that you’re not being watched. At the time the listeners are not watching, but then they put the clips out. I’m thinking, ‘Oh, my God!’”

She continues, “When I go out, I don’t want it to end.” My friends will be saying, “We should go, please.” at 6am in Soho. I’m like, ‘ No, one more! ‘ They say, “There is nowhere to go,” and they are right.

As well as co-hosting The Sunday Roast on KISS with Pete Wicks, Olivia made her presenting debut on This Morning this summer, and a new series of Olivia Attwood’s Bad Boyfriends is about to return to our screens.

In the show, a group of unsuspecting men are brought to a luxury retreat and put through a series of challenges by their girlfriends – with a little help from Olivia. Featuring a surprise appearance from former Celebrity Big Brother winner David Potts, it seems we can expect this series to reach explosive new heights.

Olivia chuckles, “They are a rowdy bunch.” Sometimes I had to exert control over them on the ground. All these people have relationship histories, which makes them stand out as being full of tension.

And there’s a twist this time. She claims that in this series, we “give the girlfriends a little bit of light.” Why are you with them if I asked them to do a soul scavenging and said, “You brought this guy here and they don’t seem to have any redeemable qualities.

She claims that there are actually a number of people and stories. You’ll have a sister or friend who has gone through it, or you’ll relate to someone in that show. It’s “the closest you’re going to get to old-school reality,” the author says. It’s campaign and silly, and there’s drama and heart. You travel somewhere with each episode.

Nothing is also prohibited for the cameras. We make the most of raw moments. We take care of someone if they need a five-minute break. You can observe what might happen in some situations, but the majority of what happens happens is seen.

Olivia’s romantic relationship with footballer husband Bradley Dack, 31, is a little less dramatic than that of the series. Fans of her ITVBe series Olivia Marries Her Match followed the couple’s stunning wedding in 2023.

She’s the first to acknowledge that married life isn’t always so blissful, despite the dreamy wedding at London’s swanky Bulgari Hotel.

“Brad and I do have a lovely relationship, but he and I are not perfect, too. Although it’s not a perfect relationship, it’s still a good one. There is no such thing as perfect, which is the lesson we all have.

The couple’s careers have changed as a result of her being one of the hardest-working women in television. He used to play football and was always out, and now I’m the one who filmes seven days a week, and he has a lot of help from him. Because I work, I miss his football games. He replies, “You save all your nice personality for work and then you come in and say, “Where’s my dinner?”

Olivia claims that Brad accepts her for who she is. “I’m still going to a roo in Ibiza and don a bikini,” I said. She claims that’s who I am. He never attempts to depress me. When a guy has done that in a relationship, it’s very liberating when they embrace you for who you really are.

Olivia left the Love Island villa almost ten years ago, finishing third behind Chris Hughes. You get a crash course on dealing with being in the public eye when you leave, she says, but you can’t actually recall the experiences of life before.

Olivia maintains a refreshingly grounded mindset despite her success. She says, “I still don’t consider myself to be famous.” “Mariah Carey is well-known. Although I may be familiar to you if you live in the UK, my life is fairly normal.

She continues to grow in no time with her career on the up. She exclaims, “I’ve been working since I left that villa.” They can’t eliminate me, they say.

On September 14, Olivia Attwood’s Bad Boyfriends airs again on ITVX.
